Aici energia curge cu putere, de parcă pe ringul de dans s-ar fi vărsat un găleată de foc și acum toți încearcă să nu se ardă. Sunetul nu vine în valuri, ci se revarsă ca un zid, astfel încât nu se aud bârfe și șoapte. Totul se învârte în jurul căldurii: cine e mai tare, cine e mai strălucitor, cine e„cel mai fierbinte în seara asta” – și nu mai are rost să contrazici asta, pentru că toată sala arde ca o singură torță mare.
Există și ironie, și încredere în asta: banii și faima vor veni cândva, dar deocamdată cel mai important sunt vocea și ritmul, care sunt mai prețioase decât orice miliard. Flacăra promite să nu se stingă și transformă muzica într-o floare care înflorește chiar pe podeaua încinsă. Și ce e amuzant – cu cât devine mai fierbinte, cu atât mai mult vrei să te apropii.
