Ca și cum conversația ar începe cu o ușoară lovitură în coastă – pare o nimica toată, dar în interior deja te zgârie. La început, un liniștit„bine, voi suporta”, apoi un râs brusc la adresa a ceea ce este scump, și iată că melodia din cap sună din ce în ce mai încet, până când se transformă în liniște. Și apoi devine înfricoșător: parcă cineva invizibil a răsucit manetele, iar propriile gânduri au încetat să mai asculte.
Aici se află atât romantismul, cât și otravă într-un singur pahar. Privirea blândă se dovedește a fi de șarpe, atingerea ușoară - un ștreang. Metaforele se învârt ca într-un manual de biologie: maxilare, oase, instinct prădător. Dar asta nu le face mai puțin poetice. O combinație de durere și frumusețe, când chiar și trădarea sună muzical, iar șarpele capătă brusc aripi de înger.
